Blog post for Gillbanks Family Law in Suffolk.
Sir Andrew McFarlane, who will soon replace Sir James Munby as President of the Family Division, has said that he is ‘supportive’ of the idea of early intervention in post-separation arrangements for children.
Divorce law came a step closer to its first reform in fifty years last month, after draft legislation was published asking Parliament to consider the idea of ‘no-fault divorce’
Experts realised that the current laws about divorce can lead to extra conflict and make break ups more painful than they need to be, so after some research, they have suggested the Divorce (etc.) Law Review Bill.
You might wonder why we’re talking about Lipoedema on the Wingz blog – well the reason we have Wingz in the first place is because Michelle Ellis, Wingz founder, has the condition and designed Wingz to cover her arms.
Of course, they’ve taken off as a fashion accessory in their own right, because let’s face it, they are rather awesome. But initially, Michelle designed them because she was fed up with trying to find clothes with sleeves and having to wear cardigans over the top of pretty outfits.
Is this the first sign that big brands – including professional beauty brands – are starting to take a stand against some of the darker sides of the Internet and social media?
Unilever’s Chief Marketing officer Keith Weed, speaking at a conference in California, said that the company (whose portfolio includes professional beauty favourites Murad and Dermalogica) is considering boycotting advertising on digital platforms it thinks aren’t doing enough to stop spreading fake news or negative ‘ha...
I worked with brand directors to create copy that represented the Learn Play Grow ethos - the healthy living, activity and sport related basis for the brand had to be the focus. They engaged an SEO agency and web design team so I had to liaise with them to make sure that the brand message was properly communicated without losing SEO and design elements.
The website has been live since December 2017.
I worked with the client to define her target audience then rewrote the existing website copy to reflect this. I added extra pages of copy and product descriptions, deleted some pages that weren't needed and tweaked the design in WordPress where necessary but did not carry out any major changes to the web design as this was the clients' own. "I am very happy with the work, Sarah has been easy to contact throughout. I hope to use her again soon to write some blogs for my Facebook page. I would highly recommend her."
Would you understand what tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate was if you saw it on an ingredients list? Most of us wouldn’t, and according to research it would probably put us off purchasing a beauty product if we were looking for something natural and organic.
That would be a shame, because tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is just a liquid form of vitamin C, and nothing to worry about at all.

Keeping your website fresh is a challenge that many business owners struggle with. If you already have a site full of content that’s out of date, or just not relevant any more, you could might need to audit your web content – going through your site with a fine-tooth comb, looking for anything that no longer serves you, and using what you already have to create high quality content that you can use again and again.
If you think that getting your salon Instagram-savvy is a waste of your time, it’s absolutely not. Instagram is the perfect place for beauty and image-related businesses to showcase just how good they are, show off their favourite products and work, and get to know what other people are talking about. It’s free, and has over 200 million users.
One of the things I’ve had drummed into me since I have started trying to get to grips with the marketing side of copywriting (that is; marketing myself rather than marketing for other people) is that people buy from you because of the benefits they think they are going to get, not because of a list of ingredients or pretty packaging.
